SCIP’s are made from recycled and expanded poly-styrene (EPS) with a pre-engineered recycled steel wire mesh reinforcing cage surrounding it with steel trusses embedded into the foam. The panels are erected on site and then coated with special proprietary concrete skin on both sides. Various types of enhancers and sealers are used such as Fly Ash, Kryton and Kalmatron to water proof and make the cement stronger. The preferred method of applying the concrete is using a wet or dry low-volume gunite pump and gun. |
